Limited Edition Jerry Print Belt Buckle - Silver

This piece is limited edition and therefore will not be produced in large quantities (only a limited run of 50 will be produced in total). This belt buckle is cast in silver but the mold is made from a hand hammered model. Through a process known as 'chasing' or 'repousse', sheet metal is hammered on front and back over a supporting material known as 'pitch'. The process is long and painstaking, involving creating custom steel tools to fit the needs of each individual piece. The process takes quite a long time but the result is a final piece rich in texture and polish as well as all the residual energy of the artists work. This belt buckle measures about 3'' wide and fits up to a 1.25'' belt. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
